About ALA SL Chapter





THE AFRICAN LEADERSHIP ACADEMY- is a World-class coeducational secondary boarding school on the out skirts of Johannesburg South Africa. ALA admits outstanding students from accross Africa and the world.

The two year, intense academic program is offered to 16-19 year boys and girls. Entry is based on merit and scholarships are available for students with financial need. There is an emphasis on leadership development, entrepreneurial training, and understanding African issues.

The first admitted class size is 100

Sierra Visions serves an ALA Chapter
African Leadership Academy Chapters are groups of individuals in cities around the world with a shared passion for Africa and the development of future generations of African leaders.

ALA Chapters aim to:

  • Create a local community of individuals who share the ALA values and have a deep passion for Africa.
  • Host and identify local events of interest to ALA supporters.
  • Assist in the identification and nomination of ALA applicants.
  • Mentor and support local ALA students and alumni.
  • Raise public awareness of African Leadership Academy.
